Leonard Bernstein narrates and conducts this 1989 concert version, starring Jerry Hadley, June Anderson, Adolph Green, Christa Ludwig, Nicolai Gedda, Della Jones and The London Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. Videotaped at the Barbican Centre, London.


CANDIDE IN CONCERT (Image Ent.)

The New York Philharmonic's concert of Leonard Bersntein's musical, with Patti LuPone, Kristin Chenoweth, Paul Groves, Stanford Olsen and Sir Thomas Allen. Directed by Lonny Price. Recorded live at Avery Fisher Hall at the Lincoln Center in 2004.

CAROL CHANNING & PEARL BAILEY ON BROADWAY (Image Ent.)

On March 16, 1969, ABC-TV aired a one-time-only concert at the Winter Garden Theatre on Broadway, starring Carol Channing and Pearl Bailey. Includes "Hello, Dolly!", "If I Were a Rich Man", "The Music Man" and "The Oldest Established".

Live recording of Barbara Cook's acclameid concert where she sings the songs of Stephen Sondheim and the songs he wishes he had written. Includes footage from Barbara's Master Class at the Kennedy Center in Washington and an interview with her.

Filmed in Sydney at The State Theatre. Elaine Paige's "Greatest Hits" tour celebrating her 40th Anniversary in showbiz, and includes some new material (including a song written for her, when she was in Evita, by Dustin Hoffman and Bette Midler that she s never performed before) together with West End / Broadway hits. She also tells anecdotes from her career, and performs a number of the songs in costume.

GARLAND, JUDY: LIVE AT THE LONDON PALLADIUM WITH LIZA MINNELI (Kultur)

One of Judy Garland's last appearances at the London Palladium, this concert also marked Liza Minnelli's first public stage performance with her mother.


HALLELUJAH BROADWAY

PBS special featuring concert recorded February 8 in Prague. Featuring Linda Eder, Rodrick Dixon, Alfreda Burke, Anthony Kearns, Prague Filmharmonic Orchestra and Choir.
