THE AMERICAN DANCE MACHINE - this American dance group specializes in recreating great Broadway dance numbers and in this TV special they are helped by, among others, Lee Roy Reams and Wayne Cilento. One of the highlights is the number "If the Rain's Got to Fall " from HALF A SIXPENCE.
ANDREA McARDLE ON BROADWAY - 1996 TV telecast with Andrea McArdle (of course), Scott Wise, Alexis Kalehoff, Michael McArdle and Darrian Ford.
APPLAUSE - Lauren Bacall and Penny Fuller recreated her stage roles for the TV production of this musical, with Larry Hagman and Robert Mandan. What are they waiting for? I'm sure this would be a hit.
THE BOYS FROM SYRACUSE - in 1986 there was a Canadian telecast of this show, starring Colm Feore, Geraint Wyn Davies and Susan Wright. It would be nice to compared it with the last Broadway revival.
BROADWAY PLAYS WASHINGTON - 1982 TV broadcast starring, among others, Beatrice Arthur, Pearl Bailey, John Cullum, Christine Ebersole, John Raitt, Debbie Reynolds, Elaine Stritch, Chita Rivera, Larry Kert, Ann Reinking and Larry Kert.
CABARET - before the successful Broadway revival of the classic John Kander & Fred Ebb musical, Sam Mendes directed it at London's Donmar Warehouse with Alan Cumming, Jane ("Little Voice") Horrocks, Adam Godley and Sara Kestelman.
COMPANY - in 1995 Sam Mendes directed the Donmar Warehouse's production of the Stephen Sondheim musical. It was a brilliant show with a perfect cast that included Adrian Lester, Clive Rowe, Sophie Thompson and Sheila Gish.
CONTACT - this one was shown very recently on PBS and I hardly can wait to have it on DVD. The cast was terrific and the work of Susan Stroman is always amazing. The cast includes Alan Campbell, Colleen Dunn and Charlotte D'Amboise.
CRAZY FOR YOU - this was one was shown on PBS, stars Jim Walton and Stacey Logan and it's a great recreation of the original production. It's very high on my list, because it's one of my favorite shows and I never get tired of watching the fabulous dance numbers staged by Susan Stroman.
DAMES AT SEA - 1971 TV production starring Ann-Margret, Ann Miller, Anne Meara, Fred Gwyne, Dick Shawn and Harvey Evans.
AN EVENING WITH CAROL CHANNING - in 1966 Carol Channing did this special TV telecast and she's always a joy to see.
AN EVENING WITH LIZA MINNELLI - 1980 HBO presentatin of Liza Minnelli's concert at the New Orleans Theatre of the Performing Arts.

HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY, HOLLYWOOD - 1987 television special with a dream cast and several fabulous sequence, specially the opening number with Liza Minnelli and a mini-musical starring Bernadette Peters and Treat Williams.
IRA GERSHWIN AT 100: A CELEBRATION AT CARNEGIE HALL - live at Carnegie Hall a star-studded tribute to the work of Ira Gershwin. The cast includes Karen Akers, Christine Baranski, Vic Damone, Rosemary Clooney, Karen Ziemba, Michael Feinstein, Scott Wise and Christine Ebersole.
IRVING BERLIN'S 100TH BIRTHDAY - Tommy Tune, Madeline Kahn, Nell Carter, Michael Feinstein and many others celebrated the music and words of Irving Berlin in this exciting homage.
JULIE ANDREWS & CAROL BURNETT - together they made a few television specials, full of gags and songs. Wouldn't it be loverly to have them all on a single or double DVD?

THE MAKING OF 42ND STREET - a closer look to the fabulous Broadway revival, with plenty of musical numbers excerpts. If they don't film the complete production (they should) this is going to be the best souvenir from the show.
THE MAKING OF THE PRODUCERS - the entire cast is here, so are the gags and, with the exception of "Springtime for Hitler", they show us all the numbers. This is a sure bet to keep us satisfied.
MUSICAL COMEDY TONIGHT - PBS two programs about musical theatre, hosted by writer-composer-lyricist Sylvia Fine (Danny Kaye’s wife), with many guests and featuring scenes from several shows.
THE MOST HAPPY FELLA - another TV telecast of a famous musical, this one with Giorgio Tozzi, Sharon Daniels, Louisa Flaningam, Adrienne Leonetti, Richard Muenz, Dennis Waring, Darren Nimnicht and Richard White.
PACIFIC OVERTURES - the Original Broadway production of this Stephen Sondheim musical was taped for the Japanese television in 1976, so I'm sure that somewhere there's a copy waiting to be released on DVD. The cast included Mako, Soon-Teck Oh, Yuki Shimoda, Sab Shimono, Isao Sato, Alvin Ing and Ernest Harada.

The cast includes Ethel Merman, Mary Martin, Tom Bosley, Len Cariou and Jerry Orbach. One of the highlights was Chita Rivera recreating "The Shriners Ballet" from BYE BYE BIRDIE.
THE TONY AWARDS - I'm not asking for the complete ceremony, but wouldn't be great to have the musical numbers from all the Tonys broadcasts? Of course I'm daydreaming, but it's a wonderful dream.
